I'm wanting to install a front camera with an "OEM" style switch on my 2019 Tacoma w/ TRD pro grille. Any suggestions on what I should be buying? Keeping it flush and picture quality is a must.

Check out Beat Sonic. I have their mirroring system and their front/rear anytime camera

I just actually mounted their front camera in my housing I have that I mount on the front of my grill. I chose to make my truck look OEM and match. I was given a Tailgate Rear Camera early on that someone was getting rid of and I modified it to mount the camera portion to the front of my grill. However, with it being a reverse camera, I finally decided to get a different camera for the front but I kept the housing so it would still look similar to my reverse camera housing. Here I have the camera mounted to the inner piece of my grill.

They have the camera that is flush with the Toyota logo tho. Definitely check out what they have. The mirroring system is pretty legit. It also has the navigation by-pass mode as well

Look out! I got the Crux Vimty-05 interface and it does not allow viewing while driving. The truck has to be in Park and E-brake on to toggle the camera on.
Not what I was hoping for :tumbleweed:. I guess I'll buy something else.

    lots to come...
I have beatsonic's unit. It works just like my LX570s front camera in that it automatically turned on at slow speeds. Different in that it adds a button to control, if one wants to separate from the auto function, to view the front or rear views. I did have to hide a button for the wireless charger as my truck has all button spots being used.

Thanks - Now I gotta remove the Crux harness. I will go with the BeatSonic CS6EP Their docs say you can turn off the automatic low speed function.

I’m looking at adding a camera to the front for my wife to park. She hasn’t learned the truck’s dimensions well in the 10 days we’ve had it and parks 5’ from everything.

This ^ Paired with a Nakita camera. No extra switch needed and can really use anytime. Also a bonus that you can lock it in view mode. This was a game changer when I learned about it, ha.

    Normal operation:
When the car switches to REVERSE the rear camera will turn on like normal,
when not in REVERSE, pressing the "MODE" button twice will activate the camera
for 30 seconds or until speed exceeds 30mph and then go back to normal infotainment screen.
When switching from REVERSE to a different gear, front cam will come on for 30 seconds.
Switch between cams: Press "next" or "previous" track button on your steering wheel
to switch between front and rear cams respectively. (up arrow for front and down arrow for rear)

Camera hold: Press "MODE" button twice, then hold the up arrow or down arrow until you
hear a beep and the camera will stay on until you press "MODE" again,
once in HOLD mode you can switch between cams and stay in HOLD mode.

Also, pretty easy to flush mount a camera to the pro grill. Just has to be off to the side slightly because of limited room on the inside.

Nah, I had it saved from when I found it just in case I forgot, ha. I must have had that installed for over a year before I learned about the hold mode. Only started looking because I installed the anytime kit for a friend and she has the switch. So I wondered what I had to do to get the Germes Lab one to function longer than 30 seconds. Viola!
