Looking for a reliable HID kit without the “bounce” issue being reported by users. What watt and outage are you using?

I second the Xenon Depot kit. I ordered the Phillips bulbs as well. NO BOUNCE. great improvement from the stock halogen bulbs.

Front hellwig sway bar,All pro sway bar end links, Fox 2.5 Resi Coilovers and Shocks, Fox 2.5 Hydraulic Bumpstops, Budbuilt Traction bar, Total Chaos UCAs w/ heim joints, Icon AAL, AFE Power Intake with dynamic scoop, URD spec U, URD short shifter, Flossy weighted shift knob, michelin tires, black badges, black tailgate letters, black grill with custom Diaz Fab Devil horn yota logo, retrofit/morimoto HID conversion, red interior LED lights, Pioneer head unit, kenwood excelon door speakers, 2 10" pioneer subs,
Just for the record, I have the morimoto HID setup on both my low AND high beams, and have had no issues for about 20,000 miles now on that setup. My headlights do bounce just a tiny bit over bumps but honestly its not that noticeable, you kinda get used to it and it just becomes a part of the truck bouncing over bumps. It originates from the polyurethane or silicone ring they use to seal the light bulb into the light housing, this ring flexes and allows the light to bounce over bumps but its nothing to worry about. The flex allows the light to hit harder bumps without breaking because a solid mount would eventually break the bulb if you hit too hard a bump.

As well. The light pattern has a couple of hot spots, but I attribute that to the fact that it is a halogen assembly that has been converted. As far as bounce, candlepower, and reliability, I have no complaints. Absolute safety must as far as mods are concerned, in my opinion.

Yeah, definitely can notice the hotspot in the middle, but they are halogen projectors. The cut off is fine and even with my lift + tires my lights do not hit the rear view mirrors of most cars; never been flashed before. I paired them up with yellow halogen fog lights for the rain.

I had the setup from Retrofit Source. Morimoto's - 55w ballasts and 6500k bulbs...I got used to the bounce, but after a while I needed something better.

Now I have retrofitted RX350's with custom tuned STi-R lenses ;)

I also highly recommend this setup. Its pricey but in my opinion worth it.

I do however get a slight shake when offroading on rougher terrain, not bad enough to bother me but it is there.... not as bad as my buddy's crappy DDM kit in his 4runner though.

I've also had the wiring harness and ballast completely soaked from forging 30" deep water and have had ZERO problems.... although my CaliRaised LED bar did short out my HIDs were fine. (Cali raised sent me a new wiring harness though so I'll give them credit for having great customer service)

Nice, i bought my CBIs right before the CBHs were available. I wanna try those. We also have the Philips extreme visions in some tuned TL projectors and they look really nice after they'e been broken in.
