I'd personally mount it in center console.

Give me a minute, The actual install is still 2 weeks'ish out. My truck gets built tomorrow. The momentary switches are on eBay and Amazion like the add at the bottom, it was like $4 bucks. The remote came from ebay, but of Course you need to know your frequency number or at lest weather its a green light learner of a red light learner, on your garage to know what remote to buy, it was $12 & change. I'll post links and photos when I get home tonight. Odviously I'm going to mount this in one of my blanks switch pods, If I have one. My truck is coming loaded.

LOL Yeah not much for soldering such small joints, meh but it works....Didn't want the closed case. Not as clean a look but no one sees it.

I especially Wanted to be able to change the battery Or take the battery out out for security reasons without removing the whole shebang, I needed much longer wires to be able to get at it as well. Battery gets weak but still works but after awhile I lost distance so I change them more often than not.

Did not want to complicate things with step down transformers and tapping truck hot wires. I don't mess with the trucks wiring for anything. Battery is good enough and I keep a supply in the truck for the Fob anyway

The battery access did make that a nice option.

I picked the mini remote over the standard size, so that I could just stick though the blanks hole as one, no fishing. In the end, I'll probable shorten the wires even more to tuck the remote right behind the button to support it better for the long hall.

Yeah It is very important the remote fits though the hole left from the blank.I used much longer wires to have options and access where to tape it. I did not want it rattling behind the dash.

Look like you used very stout wire so the remote will be suspended. Good Idea

Yeah but you used Kaizan on the idea!!!

Kaizen is the practice of continuous improvement. Kaizen was originally introduced to the West by Masaaki Imai in his book Kaizen: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success in 1986. Today Kaizen is recognized worldwide as an important pillar of an organization's long-term competitive strategy.

In light of that great definition, that's what that word means. They actually use that in my work but didn't know what it meant so I guess you're complimenting me, thank you

Yes I am. You took a rough version and made it look great!!! That is what Kaizan focused managers do. ( and why we have a Honda CRV , A new Tacoma and an MX 5. It is a Japanese term and why their products are so good.
