    Hi Dudes and Dudette's.
Glad I found this tread. I live in the wood district and I am on my umteenth Toyota truck. My first one was a 1969 Hilux that entered the country without signal lights so they added them on top of the fenders. It was really cool and I wish I had it now. Bought it in early 70's. Then I bought a 73 that was turquoise. Recently traded my 08 Tundra for a 2011 DC,LB Tacoma due to a kneecap injury. And yeah, I see a whole lot of Tacoma's, especially at Freddy's on Bakerview. I don't see a lot of LB's, bu alot of SB's. Glad to see this thread.

Anyone need a BNIB set of OEM brake pads and rotors for an 09 Tacoma? I bought a Tundra before I ended up doing a brake job on my Tacoma, so I don't need these anymore. Can meet anywhere in Skagit or Whatcom county.

Looking into driving up to the Olympics Monday for three days. Where's the best sites to see up there? We'll be camping both nights in the national Forrest. Looking at the hurricane ridge area for one night. What else is good? Ol lady doesn't like to hike more then a few miles so that's outta the question. Probably head up 101 Monday morning and return through Tahuya on wed for a little romp. (ol lady's never been).

I was there for a couple days in my Tacoma last week. I've been to Hurricane Ridge many times. It's very good. I went to Cape Flattery this time. Very cool. Any of three rain forests are great to see when there's good weather. I've camped at Lake Crescent. Crystal clear water and good hikes around it. There's so many good choices. It takes many trips to see even a small portion. There's lots of long forest roads you can go on where you'll likely not see any one else the whole time. enjoy.

We only did a short weekend thing on the west side.

We did the Hoh rainforest, which wasn't as good as the pictures. I was expecting some big green mossy place where the trees were immense and the sky was blocked by green, and you'd have to hike under or over roots - OK, silly childlike fantasy, but that's what was set up in my head. Instead, it's just a super mossy forest. Interesting enough, but go in the morning because it gets muggy.

The other place we went was Rialto Beach, just north of La Push. Probably the best thing we did. Temperature drop was just perfect, we were lucky to have 78 degree weather on the beach. Primarily rocky, but gets sandy as you walk north. At the end are some nice rocky tower/islands standing about 100 feet or more out from shore, plus hole-in-the-wall. Scenic and restful.

Need to get a permit tomorrow then. Camp out at Rialto beach then hurricane ridge Tuesday night. Where should I explore
In hurricane ridge? I only went up there once at night in a car.
