Dealer in Burlington was just starting their training on the L32 limited service campaign about 2 weeks ago.

I'll still be oil spraying my truck every year though.

Yup, same. I put several coats of Permalac on the underside of the body and frame when it was still new and prior to oil spray and now soak it with oil spray myself spring and fall.

    Winch is in, :)
    not wired yet though, :(
as I'll have to make a bracket to move the controller box right up near the battery.
I'll finish making the template tomorrow...
Figured out my wire paths, going to make some support brackets...

Ran the winch in forwards and reverse before I pulled off the front bumper and mounted it in.

Didn't drop the front end height at all, and didn't notice the extra weight at all when cornering or braking.
Rides a little smoother over light bumps now.
    Loving these 8112's.

    Me three...

Does it mean they will spray the coating or replace the frame depending on weather you have holes, or is there a scenario where they will do nothing?

They want you to have the coating done to extend your frame warranty. Personally, I would never use a coating like that.

Especially after the truck has been on the road for awhile. I wonder what they do with people who have already oil sprayed...just coat over it???

Well my truck has been on the road for a couple years and has some surface rust here and there. I've never oil sprayed it. What is the issue with the coating?

The frame rust campaign #173 bulletin for 2nd gens instructed the mechanic to pressure wash the frame, remove flaking rust with wire brush/scraper, then brush coat the frame with etching primer. Whether the mechanic follows all the steps thoroughly is questionable. If you've been oiling the frame yearly and it looks to be in no danger of developing rust holes, just ignore the campaign.

Interesting. The amount of time it would take to do this properly...can’t see it happening

The surface rust and the salt will just be hidden under this coating to continue to rot your frame out of site.

It's a rubberized coating that after a few years dries out and cracks letting moisture and salt get in aiding in holding that moisture and salt on the frame

This has been all over Instagram pages.

Guy is a cunt and went where numerous signs say not to go. This wasn't an adventurous trail gone bad.

This was a stupid fucking cunt the adds to ruining public land access by being a selfish twat that thinks rules don't apply to him.

But is this the same stuff? I had that black stuff done when I bought my truck and it was gone within the year. I was reading in a thread, a guy that works for Toyota was saying this stuff is waxy...

"Other wise the frame will have a CRC coating performed inside the front half of the frame, this includes the inside of the front boxes section and certain areas of the open mid section ( C channel ). There will be no coating at the rear frame sections. The inside frame rails will be dried with a frame dryer for 3 hours to ensure any water inside the frame is removed before the cleaning process can be performed. After the cleaning process is performed the technician will use an endoscope to inspect the inside of the frame before the CRC application can proceed. A heated wax based CRC is used to coat the inside of the boxed frame and locations of the mid open section. There will be no exterior coating in this campaign like used in the 2010 and previous years.
The front wheels, suspension braces and front bumper will be removed for the cleaning and application process."
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/frame-coverage-for-2011.590939/

What they did to my truck just looked like a flat black paint.
