Just a lil update....and some more info hopefully. I called Toytec, the guy seemed like he knew what he was talking about and he said the 5100's aren't compatible with any aftermarket coils..............????

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
But Toytec sells 5100's with Eibachs in the ultimate lift package. And they sold me 5100's and Eibachs knowing i was going to put them on.
    That just don't sound right.

You still haven't told us regular cab, access cab, or double cab.

After I lifted my std cab with OME 885 springs and Nitrocharger shocks, the ride is harsh.

None of this "Oh yeah OME is a plush ride!"

The reason is that the std cab with 4 banger is at least 300lbs lighter than an access cab - more if the access cab has a v6, and the OME guys were setting up springs for the heavier rigs.

I'm solving it by weighing down the truck more - permanently mounting more of my gear; sliders, hi lift, couple jerry cans, recovery bag, toolbox, etc... It's really fairly easy to add a couple hundred lbs to your truck.

Ok, All this info is good and helpful. I have a similiar problem Back in late 2008 I bought the toytec adjustable, ready to install ultimate front lift. My ride is "harsh" as well. Mine include Billys 5100 as well. Any remedy?? I drive a 2008 V6 Double Cab. I assume its the front that is so harsh. The rear includes toytec AAL non tsb, 2" block and pro comp shocks. Here are my installed products: Thanks for looking

^ I have those right now with the silver springs and have a access cab. I do not use them for lift and they ride awesome! How high do you have them cranked?

Ditto. I have the 5100s with the Toytec adjustable coilover (Eibach springs). I've seen others who have them working fine with the OME coils as well.

Mine measure 22.75 from the center of the hub to the fender well. Also, the 5100s should be set on the 0 setting.

That's correct. 0 is the lowest setting on the 5100 shock (stock height). The other three are 0.85, 1.75 and 2.5. My Toytec coilover was one of the first ones made. You should go by what the instructions say for the shock settings.

^there are 4 grooves in the 5100 shock to adjust them.

To the other guys: since mine are set at zero with no preload idk if your should ride better, if you were at zero lift with those hell ya they should ride more plush than my trucks setup. But the problem is once you start preloading springs then ride comfort goes down.

You might have to take the shock out of the coil to see them. The coilover collar might hide them. You will have to take the shock out of the coil to adjust them. It's a little metal clip that fits one of four grooves and surrounds the shock. The bottommost groove is the 0 setting.

WOW!! So I have to completely uninstall the assemblied coilover to adjust the shock settings. That seems crazy. and crappy!! What setting do they come set on from Toytec??

^ what he said and any close up picture of the shock will show you the grooves. 0, :85, 1.75, 2.5 are the lift increments

So they should work with the 884's right? I don't see any reason they shouldn't, but toytec said no.
