Test fit my flares. Not even close  The bedsides are bent a little. The instructions aren’t very clear because the number of screws are wrong and the screw for the front is too short. Now to attempt the front.

Super easy. It took no time at all. I really just wanted better organization and with all the additional accessories coming up I needed something that had multiple mounting options. Also, it was on sale :D

@prone2xl in the very corner of the three planes is a crack... look at this zoomed in pic

Water appeared on my floor, near my fingers in that pic, but I couldn't see anything come in from the firewall pass throughs, only seepage in..... Pop off your trims and lift up the carpet and see if its wet!

2012 Tacoma 4x4 2.7L 5-speed MT SR5 98,382 miles that I purchased new in November 2011. Today replaced original spark plugs and serpentine belt. Used Denso Part No. 3421 (SK20HR11) spark plugs. And a Bando serpentine belt. Total time for both under 2 hrs. New plugs gap at .043 & the original plugs were over .045 and starting to look worn. Coils were clean. My original serpentine belt looked great but just a piece a mind of guess since I travel frequently in the winter hunting in secluded places. Happy owner!

Applied a bunch of this stick on weather stripping from Amazon, to fill between the door seams to block wind turbulence and such on the highway. Will conduct tests to show the results once i finish the passenger side.

Flares are on for now. I left off the rubber strip. The small bumper end pieces aren’t on because they didn’t come with holes, I have to drill them.

Truck threw the dreaded P2442 code this past monday morning on a fast 4 lane, that limp mode is crap! Called dealer, couldn't get me in until today to swap out the air valves, they did give me a brand new highlander as a loaner though.
On the way to dealer this AM, ran over a 5 inch bolt went straight through rear tire, bolt head first. Limped into a discount tire for a new tire and then onto the dealer.

Built the basic bed platform this afternoon (from the plethora of info on here). Anyone else rocking Astro-turf style carpeting in the back? I built it to slide Rubbermaid boxes with fishing/hunting/camping gear under and a cooler full of smallmouth and/or walleyes on top. I have a short bed and I am 6’, so I probably won’t be using the platform for sleeping (unless there’s a surprise monsoon while I’m camping/weekend hunting). With all of that being said, I figured the turf would grip stuff better than a outdoor carpet. I also thought of buying a rubber mat, but I figured that’d be too good at keeping things in place. Anyone rocking a rubber mat?

Came home because there is a fire near my place.
Changed out the blown fog bulb.
Broke the plastic holder on the lense installing the new bulb, yay!

Jb welded it in and now Im off to grab a new set of yellow lenses and led bulbs.

I loved the pure amber awesomeness of the yellow nokya halogen bulbs (which lasted a long time btw) with the yellow lenses, but my clear spares match the center led set better I think.
And I still have awesome amber running lights, just my way of getting around the whole "thou shalt not run more than two forward facing lights in the state of corfusion california" so watever.

FU! Stupid plastic bulb holder thingy.
Why isnt anything made out of metal anymore????

    Love it.

I have a rubber mat for winter w/indoor outdoor carpeting on top for summer for the dog.

I can’t say it makes it more comfortable. But love being able to have everything I need stored neatly and still have room to sleep. Plus with the drawer system we have a full kitchen accessible to make coffee or a light meal before settling in for the day/night. Ours is extremely comfortable however. We have a puzzle type mat from Costco and use a couple of light speed self inflating mats on top of that. Honestly, my wife was concerned as well about being able to sit up...especially since my platform is on the high side. But she said she loved it after our last 4 day trip and said sitting up was a non-issue. Everyone is different though...hope that helps.

Nice and yea i see where shes coming from. My cousin has your style topper with platform and drawers underneath and it would tough to sit up. I have a ARE midrise and plan on building a same platform and draws. But for the time being my girlfriend and i have been using a full size blowup from Walmart and it works. Its perfect for now cause its only 10” tall, blows up between wheel wells, cheap, and deflates (con is its loud when you move at night). But as everything on here just gotta figure out what works. You plan on folding up the mattress topper during the day?
