    If you're shooting a Ruger 10/22 out the driver's window, it throws the brass up onto the dash and then down the defroster duct it goes! Ask me how I know.....

    Bilstein 4600 up front and new lower ball joints. The ones that came out weren't actually too bad, but at 169,000 miles, I figured, why not.

    Its not so much what I did, but what a punk bird did. This is after I cleaned it once, it looks like it scratched the crap out of my new spotter mirror on this side.

    Rat bastards. I had my convex spotter mirror shattered in a long term airport parking lot, so I feel your pain. Though Spotter did give me a little 10% off coupon when I contacted them asking if they were running any promotions.

    Changed the manual transmission fluid with Redline MT-90. Had around 30k miles on it with about 8k of it towing. Probably a bit soon but hey its not hurting anything. 192k miles hoping for many more!

    Replaced fuel float sensor. Old one would stop right after half tank and get stuck

    Curious - at 192k, what major repairs have you had to do so far?

    I know you asked the question to someone else but I’ll add my input. I turned over 190k on the way to work today. So far the only thing that I have HAD to do was replace the needle bearing with an ECG bushings. It was beginning to fail somewhere in the 160k range. I don’t remember the exact mileage. New serpentine belt, 3rd gen shocks and springs on the front in addition to regular maintenance is all I’ve ever done to. Regular maintenance included a transmission flush and fill.

    Went ahead and installed the A-pillar RAM mount mod. One of the cheaper things I've done to the truck but definitely a game changer. Trying to navigate with a phone while driving a six speed is pretty rough otherwise, and the cheap suction cup mounts I've tried all bounce the phone out on rough roads.

    @easleycrawler

    I did this mode & got the bolt from fasteners in Denver. I tried it on the drivers pillar & move it to the passenger side. It is amazing!

    One of my favorite interior mods, affordable, relatively easy install and functional

    Well being that I have an 06, the head gasket needed to be replaced so I did that earlier this spring. Only other thing that HAD to be replaced was a fuel pressure regulator which was causing a no start issue intermittently. Things I've replaced because I felt like it: 3rd gen trd off road shocks and leaf springs, new injectors, new OEM fuel pump, upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods, thicker radiator because I tow quite often, shifter bushings as it was a bit sloppy, spark plugs, coil packs (was chasing that no start issue), all the driveline fluids, all 4 wheels bearings, water pump and pulleys, threw some better speakers in because stock ones stink, quieter exhaust, led fog lamps. I'm sure some other small things.

    I wanted to refresh the truck and get it back to where I thought it should be, it drives great and tracks straight now. Shouldn't have to worry about too much for a while, but who knows. I bought this because I enjoy tinkering on vehicles, and I just couldn't wrap my head around a new taco. Plus if it gets a ding or dent I don't sweat it!

    Thanks for the info @reg188 and @All Visible Hues 14

    I’m at 96k and have had my first mechanical issue on a 2011 - driver’s side front wheel bearing.

    Today gave the truck a wash and hit it with a combo ceramic/clay coat from Mothers.

    Ah we both have white access cabs! Yours looks MUCH better than mine does! Good idea with the ceramic, keep that paint looking good.
