Interesting. Glad you have numbers to back it up.

My mileage has slowly been getting worse without any new mods, which tells me that something needs to be cleaned or replaced. 148k on the clock.

My idler pulleys have given no indication that they need to be changed, except for a squeak that I heard a handful of times several months ago. I ordered a new OEM serpentine belt that I just haven't installed yet. Maybe I should consider the idler pulleys aft the same time.

Did you replace the serpentine belt or do any other maintenance?

Took the 31M that i previously had in a custom box on my receiver hitch and crammed it the engine bay. Big upgrade over the stock 24F

Before I washed the grease off of it. The grey worked out well with my silver 06.

Finally got the carrier bearing delivered. Replaced it and the u-joints while I was at it, two of them were fine but other looked like this:eek:
    IMG_1368.jpg
Everything was really simple, just time consuming and it was my first time. No more squeaking and there might be a slight vibration I need to double check the alignment, but I am pretty sure its just the truck slightly vibrating from whatever is causing my steering vibration. Already got road force balance and hub rings but they only slightly reduced it.

Also, today is two years since I got the truck for my 16th birthday

Looking for info on how to remove the foot rest on my 2014 Tacoma 4x4 Sport. I have done multiple searches
and not finding what I need. I am sure there are threads that show how to do it. I'll take my thrashing now
and admit I could not find it.

In the process of installing the Gentex homelink mirror. Grill removed last night and sensor installed. Next step is the punch through the firewall. I intend to go through the side of the boot where the huge bundle of wires are.

Thanks for your help and any threads and or posts you can show a link to.

    washed, waxed, and detailed.

I do not usually shine the tires, but I went all in. LoL

Also changed the oil, rotated the ridge grapplers (first 5k rotate) greased the drive shaft and topped off the washer fluid.

Scored some OME Dakar HD for a great price! Really help out the rear end with all the weight in the back. Cleaned them up and painted them and as good as new.

IIRC it's basically pressed onto 3 threaded studs on the kickpanel/floor. Maybe get a claw hammer behind it and give it a tug if you can't get your fingers behind it
