I got the victory 4x4 brackets installed and 3D printed something. Earlier I had installed a seaflo 33 series washdown pump under the bed and finally figured how I will do this.. The pump came with this 3/4" GHT fitting with a gnurled body so I pressed this, with a little heat, into the 3D printed part. On the backside I put a 1/2" barb on a 90 degree fitting. I will drill a hole in the bed, and run 1/2" ID braided vinyl tubing to the pump there. I haven't yet decided how I will do the pump's suction line. The idea of this pump is for a few reasons, but mostly for cleaning my bike at the trailhead. I live in an apartment and i'm dragging a lot of dirt inside. Better to wash the mud off at the trailhead and it can dry while driving home. Also I got a cheap price on the pump..

My brother had a lot of these in his shop and I thought this would be perfect attachment for cleaning dishes at the campsite. I will have to find a ball valve and then adapter to 3/4" GHT.

The Loc-Line coolant hose in the last pic reminds me of my time as a machinist. These were used for coolant on the CNC mills and lathes. Very excellent choice for your application.

Exactly what my brother uses them for! He did a DIY cnc and recently added coolant to it.

thought i read on here somewhere where this happened to someone else and he disconnected the negative cable from the battery for about 10 minutes and reconnected it and the problem went away?? not 100% sure on that though...

edit: did some searching and found quite a few threads about this issue:

Yeah i'm not sure why he still answers my phone calls. "hey can I come over?" usually turns into him helping me bolt up air tanks to the pick up bed or something. I'm thinking it's the amusement of watching me fearlessly cutting/drilling into a truck with 2k miles on it. "hey do you have a sawzall?" "haha yeah why?"

Makes sense. Kind of like rebooting your phone when an app crashes.

I have a topper (shell) which has a third brake light making the OEM third brakelight useless and unsightly. As most may know, the bulbs are a royal pain to access, so I ordered a small roll of 3M vinyl wrap from Amazon to mitigate the amount of light it puts out. I wrapped it today, and am super happy with how it came out. I did it in about 15 minutes and it was super easy. Obviously it's not perfect, but I wasn't going for that due to the location and no one is going to see it close up. Works well and figured some here might be keen on the idea.

Installed the Subaru tweeters. Not sure that I can hear a huge difference in sound, but there is an improvement. Much better build quality than the stock ones though. The exciting part was my boss, oops I mean wife, let me out for 30 minutes while the sun was still up to play with the truck and I didn’t even do anything exciting enough to take a pic of.

Well - in California, that's end of the world weather. Once it hits 39 - people panic and start praying to God for deliverance from evil.

That was me. Because of all days, it resurfaced (in the frigid temps). I don't have a Pedal Commander on anymore. But did disconnect negative terminal, and it self corrected until next time. Gonna probably get a scanner to clear any errors codes.

I drove it around earlier in afternoon with no issues. Cranked up, shifted, and went on about my merry way.

    C'est la vie.

On another note, since we're posting temps from WTForecast, early readings this morn:

Been a while since I posted, so here is everything I have done within the last 6 months.

    *Image Heavy*

    Oem LED headlights.
    Demon Brackets with Red Shackles
    20210203_134919 (2) (1)-01.jpg

Added some extra weather strip foam to the skewp.
Noticed that water would pool up under the scoop and eat away at the paint, so added weather stripping to prevent water from getting in.

Cleaned the bed, to prepare for the new Powertrax XR One bed cover.

Installed some XPEL paint protection film on the tailgate spoiler lip.
Protects it against scratches and gives a nice place to grip when closing the tailgate.

Powertrax XR One, got it at half the price.

Added open ended speaker baffles to my Kickers speakers to protect it from the elements and help direct sound.
Also tidied up the wires and some egg crate closed cell foam for the back wave from the speakers.

Had to trim the from door card trim just a little, because the Kickers CS speakers have this extra lip that interferes.

Changed out the plastic oil filter cover with the OEM metal cover.
Changed my oil filter too, to a TRD oil filter i had laying around

I was definitely not speaking bad or bashing the company, I was merely trying to shed light on an issue that, at the time was recently discovered. And perhaps was shipped before updated instructions went with it. Isn’t that the purpose of a forum, to share information?

Bringing up a post from 3 months and 10,000+ posts ago to accuse me of bashing the company is a little crazy. Especially since I haven’t brought it up since November. o_O
