Is this the best way (and safest) way to mod the "Fog Lights" ...

Edit: ... OP ... I think that I found something ... try these ... to see which way to want to mod the "Fog Lights".

No I did not get an answer...but I see from the links that you posted that the 2012 is different, so the mod as shown in the original thread will not work.

Looks like this is the easiest way to accomplish this mod:

you should post a link for my picture you have here, that way people with the same question can see the original thread and not have 100 different threads for 1 thing.

You're right nut, that would have been a better way to do it. Any issues with the mod so far?

I did this mod on my 2012 yesterday. Easy as pie - 5 minutes. Works great. Fog lights will work anytime ign is on. Great!

... ^^^ ... Yep, I might want to do this mod too ... but don't want to screw up my new Tacoma either.

Pry up the lower-left tab on the relay...180 degree bend so that the tab come vertical (away from the socket). Jump from that tab to the socket in the lower-right of the relay box. Just like the pic in post #3 of this thread. Works like a champ.

What kind of wire did you use to connect to the relay? Where would I find it?
