    I’m probably imagining things. But, I’m currently sitting out in the hot parking lot of Party City while the wife ran inside to find some plastic champagne glasses. :crazy:
    Truck is idling. It’s plenty hot out. AC on high. Recirc on. I’m plenty comfortable.
    I need to get a little thermometer to check the vent temperature. But, the butt AC dyno seems to say it’s a tiny bit better that it was last week in similar situations.

    Which fan did you buy? It needs to be a high static pressure fan otherwise it’s performance is going to be seriously degraded trying to push through the condenser.

    I like that idea. Any increase in efficiency is going to help. Like I said somewhere else. I don’t really expect much change from simply adding the four little seals I’ve done. There’s more to do up there for sure. The sides and bottom need to be sealed up too. Those areas are way larger heat leaks.

    I personally am waiting on the availability of CSF’s new radiator for the Taco to be available. At that point I’ll add the additional seals as well as a couple of additional weatherstrips to ensure air pulled through the radiator must also be pulled through the condenser. Adding an electric fan to my truck is complicated by the presence of the supercharger’s radiator. So, my idea is to maximize the air movement I already do have with the stock clutch fan.

    There’s three or four threads on this topic right now. I wish we could combine them all into one.

    My thoughts exactly. Northern Ohio is cold 8 months per year. I know. I lived there a LONG time. Don't even need ac 90% of the time.

    As far as I know, Nobody has done it yet. Some guys have added a fan, but, I dunno if they went through the trouble of sealing up the core support as well. Toyota obviously feels that that part is important. Need to do the whole job.

    You might clean that condenser,...damn. Also, make sure your refrigerant level is correct (i.e. pressure). insulating your cabin (mentioned earlier) with 'Dynomat' or equivalent would go a long way to improving AC performance and Road Noise.

    Going to see what I can do to get my hands on these before I do the 7076 CSF radiator install. I did notice that there is a pusher fan they are modifying. What year did they start putting those in? My '06 doesn't have a fan over there, that is where I mounted my huge trans cooler. Running 3 trans coolers at the moment and going to eliminate the factory one as it is just redundant and the extra air flow might do more for lots of other systems. And install the transmission cooler thermostat cause I can't get my trans over 106 in the winter. Hopefully this trip this weekend is the last one with the factory radiator. It is going to be hot and this will be a test. A/C system was 1.0lb low on refrigerant. We will see if she can keep up towing the camper generating some good heat I am sure.

    Yikes 1 lb low? That’s almost the whole system as the taco system holds around 1.34 or 1.39 lbs somewhere around there. Sounds like you may have a decent leak somewhere.
