Alright guys.. Bought the truck in May 2012 and finally got to a point where I felt like it was time to start my build thread. It's not quite as interesting as you fellas that do all your own installs, but here she is:

    Lift:
    Bilstein 5100's all around
    Toytec/Eibach front coils
Toytec 1.5" AAL in the rear
    Light Racing UCA's

    Shoes:
    285/70r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers
    17x9 Eagle Alloy 185's 4.5" BS

**FWIW: Removed front mudflaps, but did not trim a thing. I can def get it to rub, but could rub stock too

    Other:
20% tint all around (including over stock)
    Cobra 19 DXIV CB
2' Firestik (bed rail mounted - Install here)
    UltraGauge
    OEM Bed Mat
    OEM All-Weather Mats

    NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Date of purchase! Only available White, TRD Sport, PreRunner in CA:

    Plastiderped the front emblem:

Then one day in the parking lot at work.. hit n run.
Shoutout to Marin's CHP office for how this was resolved :D
    [IMG]

Wasn't 100% sold on putting a CB in/the location of it, so instead of drilling I attached it with commercial grade Velcro. Hasn't budged, and it's super flush (antenna install here):

Then came the UltraGauge. I had some left over Velcro, so I went ahead and got a 50 cent acrylic circle from TAP Plastics and adhered it to this tray with Velcro. The optional UltraGauge suction cup mount works great on the acrylic:

Bent the little arm into the best spot I could find.. I like it:

Here are some post-lift pics, most are from a recent road trip to Oregon:

A bit of a bro-lean with the trailer
Front and rear are exactly level without a load:

    More to come!

At the moment they're at 2.5" (long story, but no bueno), I'm getting them dropped to 0.85" (max recommended by Toytec) and putting the 3/4" spacer in whenever I can haul it up to the shop.

Gorgeous truck. I'm new to the site and looking to do something very similar. I'd like to get the majority of my lift/tire mods done at once so would you recommend just going with the bilsteins at 0.85" with the 3/4" spacer off the bat? I'm definitely wanting to go with the 285/70/17's.

    Thanks man!

Yeah I would definintely knock it all out at once, it will save you a lot of $$ on labor, or your own time if you're doing it yourself. Also be aware of backspacing when picking your wheels out.

Keep looking around the forum though, tons of different options depending on what you need/want to do with your truck.

good deal. I really appreciate the advice. I'm getting the black helo he791's and they have 4.5" of bs so i think i'll be okay there. Ive been looking for some 3/4" spacers but having some trouble finding anything but the smaller or larger ones. Who are you thinking of getting yours from and you don't think you'll lose any clearance with those after you drop your bilsteins do you? last question, did you need your aftermarket UCA's or can i stay with the stock ones if i don't plan on doing any heavy wheeling. very sorry for all the questions...

Very clean! Props on this beast. It's a good model to look at for tire sizes, I'm trying to decide if I want 275/70 or 285/70 tires. Im totally split. Definitely sub'd :cool:

Nice lift, Whats the total inches? Can I run stock wheels without wheel spacers with the same setup? Iv got a 2012 with 17s stock. And the tire size would be 285x70x17 Thanks!

I don't have before and after measurements.. but theoretically about 3" up front and 1.5" in the rear.

I can't speak from experience on this, but I'd say a definite no on the stock 17s. I'm sure you can get creative with spacers though, I've seen guys run 33's on the stock TRD OR wheels with spacers. NFS257 is an example IIRC.

Keep hunting around the forum, it's a great resource.
