    Good evening everyone,

I'll start off by saying that I am a long time lurker on both this site and Toyotanation. It took me a couple of years after high school to get my life going and fast forward five years later on top of that, I graduated college this past January debt free of any student loans and landed myself an entry level corporate job about a month ago. I've been wanting a lowered truck since high school and have had my eyes on Tacomas for quite a while now but never had the opportunity to make the splurge. I like the Xrunner a lot but this go around, an automatic is a must have in the brutal stop and go traffic I face everyday to and from work. I also wanted everything (rear bumper) color matched and a hood scoop so the TRD sport is a no brainer. Im curious if anyone has an access cab with the TRD sport package with the tundra racing lowered kit installed? Essentially the look I'm going for is somewhat like an Xrunner without the body kit but I'm curious to see how it looks with this particular drop kit. Most of the lowered ones I see appear to be the base models with the 4 cylinder engine but I was really wanted the V6 after driving the two. From the real world reading on here, doesn't seem like the gas mileage differences are too far off but the V6 had some much nicer power (or at least it felt like it.) Color wise I'm thinking of doing a debadged storm trooper build as you all call it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just wish Toyota either made the Xrunner in an automatic or the base model access cabs with the V6 :/

OME all around. SPC UCA. This and that.
I cannot help you with the pics, however wanted to congratulate you on the no student loans. Dave Ramsey would be proud. My just did the same thing with a Bachelor in the Science of Nursing (BSN). However we spent a year in Iraq to make that happen. Again congrats.

Honestly I haven't found the Manual that bad in heavy traffic. First gear is so low it's super easy to creep along even in stop and go. Maybe see if the dealer will let you test drive an X-runner in some traffic? Traffic can be a pain on the ass on long steep hills though...

    We still hope....

I pray that Chevrolet puts the twin turbo'd 3.6L from the Cadillac ATS in the new Colorado. That. Would. Be. Amazing.
