Some of you may not know, but I started a little group buy here on TW with a BBQ rub that a partner of mine and I make for our competition team. The response was overwhelming and has helped launch a full-on business! We will always be in debt to the awesome community here, so...

As a way to give a little something else back to the TW community, it's time for a Tacoma World / Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage cook-off! Some folks in the group-buy thread have already had a taste, but if you don't know about Pitfaced BBQ, check out the thread. You can order some rub on our website. ***The Contest***​

Think you massage your meat better than anyone else in the Tacoma World community? Prove it by submitting a picture of your best dish that features Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage or Spicy Meat Massage to win a great grand prize (details of grand prize below). Prizes for second and third place are available as well!

Submissions are being taken now (see details below) through February 4th. Beginning February 5th, the Tacoma World community will be deciding the winners by voting for your favorite dish that features Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage or Spicy Meat Massage.

Important dates:

Submissions will be accepted between now and midnight on Sunday, February 4th.

Voting will take place from February 5th through February 18th.

The grand prize consists of:

- One (1) laser etched Pitfaced BBQ pint glass

- A 1.5 lb pouch and 11 oz shaker of both Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage and Spicy Meat Massage

- One (1) Pitfaced BBQ t-shirt (the shirt pictured is to display the style only, the size and color will be discussed with the winner)

- Two (2) Pitfaced BBQ koozies

- Two (2) Pitfaced BBQ Velcro backed embroidered patches

Second and third place will each win a shaker of either Meat Massage or Spicy Meat Massage (their choice!) and a Pitfaced BBQ Velcro backed embroidered patch!

***How to Enter***​

1. Cook something using Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage or Spicy Meat Massage (go big and get creative!).

2. Take a picture of your dish with the Pitfaced BBQ logo in the frame. Something with the shaker or the pouch is preferred, but not required, so feel free to use your patch, koozie, or other Pitfaced BBQ swag! The logo MUST be visible in the picture to be eligible!

3. Put your submission in to a single post in this thread. You can post multiple pictures of the same dish, but only the first picture will be used when I consolidate all submissions to a single post for voting.

The forum's polling options limits me to 20 choices. Currently, the plan will be to limit this to 20 submissions. If there are more and we can come up with a reasonable workaround, I will try to implement it.

Fine print:

• Only one submission per member.
• By submitting an entry, you're agreeing to let us use the picture elsewhere on our Facebook page or on our website (you'll get credit for it!).
• T-shirts are still a one-off for us at the moment, so the grand prize winner can choose a size/color, but I may ask for a little time to get it ready!
• The grand prize is only available to people in the USA & territories due to the need to ship flat rate.
• Only entries submitted to PitfacedBBQ@gmail.com will be eligible for the Facebook contest.

Question for the group and any folks considering entering that don't have the rub.... Would it help if I extended the submission period by one week?

if it looks like you will have enough submissions keep the current date, If you dont add a week. Just my .02cts
