None so far. Researching lots before i make my decision.
Im new to the site and have browsed around a little bit but havent really found what im looking for. I purchased a new 2012 tacoma thats a trd sport upgrade so it has the 18" chrome clad wheels that i see a lot of you dont care for. I on the other hand like them and do not want to get new wheels for the tacoma, however i do want to level it with 5100s set at 1.75 and leave the rear stock as well as put bigger tires on it. The issue I'm having is finding a truck like mine with the 18" clad wheels still on with this set up. Pictures will help or if anyone knows a link to see pictures that would be great. Thanks and appreciate all the help.

Yeah thanks for those. I have read up on those exact threads and its what made me want to do the 5100s. I guess what I really need to see is a picture of a tacoma with the 18" stock chrome clad wheels with the 5100s set at 1.75. And Im still unsure about what size tires i would upgrade to. Dont want anything crazy. Just dont like the stock look of it but at the same time i dont want rubbing issues or any other complications. Im going for simple and affordable with good looks that will set it apart from other tacomas.

Check out kpt's build. Not exactly what youre looking for but i believe he has 5100s &1.75 and 18 inch wheels, the backspacing is a little different but might be the closest you will find on here.
It would help to know the specs of those wheels, like how wide they are and what the backspacing is if you can find it. That might help you find someone with a similar setup, those to factors will also play a big role in how much rubbing there will be when you upgrade to larger tires.

Yeah hey thanks that helps a little bit. Still wanting to see one with the stock 18s though. I think i like that 265/65/18 tire size. Any one else running these? Also would i need to get wheel spacers in order to keep from rubbing the ucas with stock wheels?

You wont rub UCAs with this size, some people even run that size tire with no lift. If you went up to a 275 you would be very close or slight rubbing on the UCA, 285 would probably rub. Is your tire size 265/60r18 right now?

Which wheels did you go with and what tires are you going to put on?

I bought scs6 http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires-marketplace/238505-scs-stealth-6-wheels-17x8-5-a.html and i havnt decided on tires yet. Ive been looking at alot of all terrains. I might go with firestone destination AT, just because i had them on my old truck and like them, they were very quiet and did really well in the snow, the only downside is they arnt very aggresive. So i might end up getting something with a more aggresive tread pattern.
Well i cant help you to much here since i cant speak from experience on your tire/wheel setup but at least i am bumping your thread so maybe someone running that size will chime in lol.
