Yes that's me...well my finger in the vid I didn't know about this one until a few weeks ago. Another member had it up for sale and I jumped on it after doing some quick researching into the brand. What sold me on it most of all was not needing to install extra buttons and looks factory. Worth every penny!.

No.. I have one already thats why i ended up buying the full kit without the front camera...

 

Damn every other option sucks .They are all. Like twice as expensive .

 

I just want to put a front camera that’s all, since the front bumper doesn’t have a sensor when offroading or parking on tight spots

Are you using the power wire attached to the rca cable?

You get the full kit and if you only need the front camera then just use the front one. The OEM fit to the radio is very clean and you figure out what switch you want. Everyone has different preferences from a dual switch to SPOD. Works great

If you installed the car solutions version, then no... you do not need to connect the red wires (on the AV cable) to anything... just connect the front camera power and ground to the car solutions 12v camera bullet connectors.

I just finished installing the car solutions anytime camera mod, with front camera... easiest install ever, and NO additional button install nightmares! Only difficulty (if you can call it that) was running the AV cable through the passenger side firewall grommet, that thing is thick and hard to get through.

 

I also just installed this yesterday, and I’m very happy with it! I like that I didn’t have to install a new switch. I was initially wondering if it was a mistake to go with this one, but after using it for a little, it’s very intuitive, and I think easier and quicker to use the steering wheel buttons than it would be to reach for another switch.

 

Same reason why I jumped on this kit. Easiest and Fastest setup.

 

Has anyone found any front cameras that are easily to mount on the trd pro grill? I don't wanna drill into it :'(

The "raptor" lights have like a clip that goes over the grill. A camera inside that would be awesome but I think it might be too small.

 

Is this compatible with the factory JBL systems?

 

It doesn't say so I'm not sure. Maybe shooting them an email might help?

 

Yup, I installed one this weekend on a JBL, and it works perfectly!
