Looks great! But I don't understand why anyone would put the time and effort into doing cosmetic upgrades to an area of the truck that no one will ever see? [IMG]

How does anyone keep a trucks engine bay looking showroom quality clean on a four year old truck like that?

Looks likes a fast and furious tacoma.

Not my style but it looks like you took your time and did a nice job.

The shroud and the battery strap looks nice. The radiator cover is too much imo.

Simple green and water? That's what I always do. Couple 3 times a year I'll soak it with simple green and hit it with water.

A clean engine bay is a happy engine bay, also makes spotting leaks a bit easier.

Also, when you do cosmetic mods under the hood nobody sees it, sure.. but whenever you open the hood, you see it - and it's a nice experience when you've put some work into it.

Thanks. I'm using the engine bay to give me an idea of dip patterns for the interior pieces. and yes, I tend to have OCD with my Tacoma, lol :goingcrazy:

I'll take that one. It is a special water-based paint designed to work with the hydrographics process. Black and red were used as base colors.

Looks great, as stated before, now lets get it muddy. I'll help wash it. The stuff I use on my Harley, S100, absolutely works great in engine bays. Just rinse super well.
