    Nice install...

    Couple tips:

*Never run CB coax near any other wires as it will interfere with reception. Having it under the main wire harness is a big no no.

*CB mounted in center consul will not be heard on the trails (I know - learned the hard way). I ended up putting an aux speaker on mine.

Good tip, didn't know that about the coax.

And he put a aux speaker just above the gas pedel.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
The rubber grommet in the firewall is so thick that I doubt any current will penetrate it. It tuned just fine, so I hope it should be good.

*A little more research shows that you should not experience any interference or bleed as long as the wires are properly insulated and shielded.

As is always the case, but because CB coax is what it is & the highest rating you can get is 95% shielding if memory serves me correctly. Because coax is ALSO part of the antenna you can't get 100% shielded thus the signal will always get interference. My memory might be wrong, but I'm 99% sure that was the case when I researched 2 years ago.

Not breaking your balls, just don't want people to take all that time then turn on a fm/am radio station and their CB cuts out or has engine noise.

In most cases installers tell you to not even run coax on the same side of the door jamb/wire chase if other wires are present.

    Gotcha

I appreciate the feedback and insight. My setup sounds pretty good for what it is and I hope the same for anyone else who is attempting this install.

Nice work! Only concern would be wind noise from antenna...had a CB antenna on my old Trooper years ago that was mounted on right rear roof rack on top that screamed/howled while at highway speeds. Drove me nuts!
