Hmmm spring contact issues...can you elaborate? Did the sway bar only hit the springs at certain times? Like when goes over speed bump clank?

I used to hear A popping sound coming from my front end while backing out of my driveway while cutting the wheel to the left..
Turns out to be my Spindle was in Contact with the Turn Stop on the LCA. I put some grease on the turn stop on the LCA and the sound went away.

Hey guys! I just got the ome full lift kit and am now having a vibe when i first take off from a dead stop. I put the cb drop kit and still get a vibe. Will axle shims help? If yes what degree should i get and who has the best deal? I also got the 886hd coils up front and they are really really stiff because i dont have an aftermarket front bumper or winch but i plan and getting one soon, thats why i went with those coils. Will they ride much better once i get my bumper ?? Thanks!!

I pieced together an OME lift & will be installing next weekend. I got lightly used 885's & NitroCharger struts ($300) from a fellow TW member & bought the Dakar CS047R's from a local 4x4 shop for $415 (saved $115 shipping :D) I ordered the rest of the items I needed from Wheelers & Toytec & 10" travel 5100's from Performance Lifts. I pieced the kit for under $1000

    I'll post measurements after installation

Nicely done. Put that money you saved towards UCAs :p you might need new rear bushings for the dakars

Axle shims may or may not help. This has been discussed to great lengths and most people that have it deal with it. Take some measurements of your drive shaft and ideally you want opposite angles at the front and rear of the shaft and near 0* at the cb. you want to try and correct to within 1/16" between top and bottom of each u joint.

Edit: I went with a 1 piece drive shaft and my vibes went away. Much easier now only 2 ends to worry about.

I called them for pricing. They didnt have much 1st gen OME parts in stock. The best they could of done for me is put my order in with a general stock order. Doing that, they couldn't give me a date.

Plus they are over 2 hours from my house.
