That's a smokin' deal! I saw this the other day, not a ford guy but it would be a good start for a go fast rig-
    http://eastoregon.craigslist.org/cto/4336599329.html

The wheeling on this side of the state is fun. Not a lot of designated trails (although there is an offroad park http://www.morrowcountyparks.org/ohv-park/home )
It's as hard as you want to make it. Lots of hillclimbs, mud (this time of year), and rockpiles but not a lot of trails. You just have to go do it. I need to put together a route and put on a proper trail run for you guys...it's hard to come up with a plan because we all have such different capabilities and experience though.

I think there should be a sub-forum for that shit.. Or just sexy each other and rub one out.

username - Ever make it over to Wallowa Valley? I'd really like to do another 3/4 day trip out in Hell's Canyon..

Got a 966MB low about 150 miles south of us, been beating our brains out for the last couple days.. Sucks.

    Lotsa' coyotes. Nuff' said.

Had really good fishing in the Bering Sea, we're on the way to Kodiak to go catch our allotted quota for Pollock there.. Then we'll be rebuilding the main engine, for three weeks in April.

Time is flying by; it's just frustrating not being able to expand my fab business, since I'm up here. The income where I'm at is pretty awesome - it's just a lot of time away..

But, each trip is mo' money.. Some of which can be invested into my fab business.

I have a couple ideas that I'd really like to bring into limited production.

So...if they want help getting rid of coyotes...let me know haha. If they don't want you bringing people with totally understandable though. That part of the state is so unbelievably pretty.

If I didn't have the AF... I'd probably be on a boat fishing somewhere.

A good friend of mine has property about 15 miles up the river from Imnaha...the steelies are running right now too (although the water is high). I've never driven the road past Imnaha that goes down to the snake river, I heard there are some nice views from there. Also there is a way to go from Imnaha to Halfway (all dirt/gravel) but I haven't done that yet either. There's a couple good loops, with wheelin' detours along the way of course.

    lol, thanks Seth.

I have an engine coming up here from San Antonio (from DieselToys actually). It is NOT a 1KD-FTV Diesel, but I will say that the engine is brand spanking new (12 miles on it). Someone with deep pockets had a 2014 Taco taken to them straight from the dealerhsip to get converted to a D-4D, and they are willing to sell me the 1GR-FE they are pulling out. I will need to do some parts swapping from my engine (removing the secondary A.I.R Injection pump that the '12+ engines have), but I think I have that figured out; swap the headers and pass. side valve cover. The ECU from my truck will work just fine.

Now it's just a waiting game to have them pull it, crate-it/strap it, ship it, and then install it. :D

Me too man! it's been 1 month & 18 days since I last drove my truck :tumbleweed:

Anytime you feel like heading up here, we could go explore some easy trails. We "should" be having the annual TSF Camping trip coming up soon in the next couple months. That's always a good time, I think there were 23 rigs last year
