Anyone have any information on tsb-00589-18. My dealer did it when I complain of the truck hunting for gears up and down hills.

They probably did T-SB-0058-18 but typo-ed it.

Soooo, I bought my 19 TRD OR on March 30th '19. Curious if your 19 actually needed the reflash or came with it.?.
I actually felt a lot of the issues, lag, dead petal, etc. before I joined the forum.
I woke up a couple Sundays ago and told my wife, someone else has to have noticed this, if not, I'm sure a tune could maybe fix 'this'. Then I did a search and found OV tune, and then it began.
Please let me know what they say about your 19!

NHTSA website (https://nhtsa.gov) lists all TSB's, Tech Tips, etc. and consumer complaints, another great place for new owners as well as this forum. TSB documents are there for download in case you have a stubborn dealership.

For 2018's and above, TSB 0059-18 (Pre-Collision System (PCS) Customizable Features) is not listed here. Toyota will program your truck to remember the last PCS setting after vehicle shutoff, basically letting you be an adult and manage your vehicle yourself. I didn't know about this TSB until now. I'm glad I will found it, and will have it applied at my next service.

I know there's another TW post on this already (last reply 2 months ago), but is this TSB very well known to the TW community?

Sounds like you can only tell what updates have been done via Techstream?

No there has not been much discussion on this forum about that TSB. It sounds like you're implying you're active on one of the other forums, is that true?

I'm not active on that thread, just did a TW search for "0059-18" and it is the only one that came up.

I purchased a used 2018 earlier this year and though I like the truck overall, I was getting irritated with the shifting. After reading about the TSB on this forum, I called my dealer and asked them to flash mine. (They also did the PCS).
I am much happier with my Tacoma now! The OVT would be nice but too pricey for my taste.

looks like I'll be getting a new HP fuel pump.. mine is squaking like a bastard... really irritating for a nice new truck to be that noisy/chirpy...

    T-SB-0186-12 R2: Clutch Pedal Squeak/Creak Noise

I just had my 2019 Tacoma in for this repair. Parts are on order for replacement listed in the TSB. It's still hard to belive that after this many years mentioned in the TSB, this is still an issue.

So, I just finished getting the repair. The repair order is referring to TSB -0112-19
I found it on the NHTSA website: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10164907-9999.pdf
There is only 19,000 miles on my truck. The clutch is now noticeably harder to push down that it was before and seems to engage further from the floor than before as well. Not sure if these pedals/clutches can be adjusted to engage sooner or not. Anyway, the loud creak/squeak is gone.

Pretty sure it was just for the isolation pads in between on the ends of the leaves

2018 Limited owner here. I picked up the truck brand new. 7 miles on it when I got it. 20K now.

Has anyone had an issue with the truck at cruising speed feeling like the engine is hiccuping. If I am holding steady on the gas you can feel the engine sputter. That and it just doesn't want to cruise.

TSB 0059-18 was new to me. Turns out you can customize this in Carista and effectively perform this TSB at home. PCS Settings are under the "other" menu in Carista.

I've been hearing a creaking noise from my clutch pedal. Is this TSB repair free of charge? I'm at ~12,500 miles now.
