Just starting my search for new tires to replace the stock dunlops. I'm leaning heavily towards BFG ATs on stock TRD off road rims. Looks like my max tire size without a lift is 265/75/16s. Does anyone have pics of their taco with these tires on a stock, non-lifted truck? Not really interested in lifting. And yes I did search and didn't find much.

    Thanks

I have Firestone Destination A/Ts on my stock TRD rims (265/70/r16)... No lifts or the like.. Believe me, the Destination A/Ts live up to their top billing on tirerack...

Ummm that was literally 2 mins of searching. I don't know how else to explain that. My point was to search and spend some time browsing through the forum. I don't have time to read all the BFGs threads and find out which one is relevant, I'm not in the market for tires, he is.

Just go with an all season. If you do trail rides an all season will do just fine.

these are a clone of the BFG's AT, 6 months ago i would not have even considered a retread until i read an artificial that talked and tested about these tires. Then i started asking my friends what they thought... turns out that two of them are running them! One here in NM. and another back in AZ and they use them in totally different ways! AZ has ave them for 14 months and uses them as an every day driver, including sustained highway driving at 70+... Loves them! Only complaint is that they have a bit more road noise than the real thing. NM has had them for only a couple of months and only puts them on his truck when he heads out off road (including MOAB this year) Loves them also and no issues.

With a $108 (265/75R16) price tag as appose to $204 each... thats $540 for 5+ $80 shipping= $620 or spend $1020 on the real thing. Humm you could get 8 tread wrights for about the same price!

I willbe getting a set of these in a couple of months when my tires are a bit more shot (Hankook Dyna Pro AT RF10)

Thanks for the links Yamaha Dave! I found 2 in there that were really useful that I didn't find on my own.

About the retreads, I know they're cheaper but I just don't trust them. I drive commercial vehicles and retreads are illegal on the front tires. Thanks for the suggestion though.
