I'm offering weld on rock slider kits for the first gen 5 & 6 lug. I've always had them available, but they haven't been something that I've exposed much on the forums. After this weekend's install, I decided to put a simple kit together. They're rock solid and turn out great.

I used 2 square holes on the side of the frame to locate the front and rear plate, and space the other 2 accordingly. (20-1/2" apart for extra cab) This makes for 4 equally spaced legs and allows the end legs to be out toward the end of the slider where they should be for maximum strength. I'll get some better pics up soon.

    Specs:

1-3/4" 120 wall welded round / other materials available & calculated by current price

offered in 3 widths / narrow, medium & wide

82" for extra cab (same length as 2nd gen)

    64" for standard cab

    all welds legit

    Elites(my fav lookin ones)
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/elite-off-road/102086-elite-off-road-sliders.html

And 4xinovations. def the cheapest you can find.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/4x-innovations/90902-rock-sliders-all-toyotas.html

Theres a few vendors for pricing i guess. the 4x inovations are popular as they are so cheap. I personally wouldn't run them..i dont like the styling. I love the look of the Elite ones ones.

    Yours do look beafy tho!

Ill vouch for Brians Sliders, had mine 2 years. They came off not too long ago and need to be put back on though.

You got some time Brian? I have a few little projects that call for the Beefed state of mind.... Your the only person who has ever understood what I need out of my truck.

Do you come out and weld them on for that price?? :D

    I like those!

I've always liked the look of the All-Pro sliders, but are way more expensive at $359... You've got my vote, Brian! Now if I can only find $280 in my couch...
