This is why Randall is bae.

Damn that battery is a thicc bitch! I need to weld in some support brackets for the headlight support bracket. It's cracking. Minor for now but when I need up the battery department, she's going to need some protein.

Welcome brother. Here if you need anything; especially noodz.

Yeah it’s wild. The optima 31m was only 60 lbs. The x2 has all around better specs and is heavier, but smaller form factor. I’m keeping an eye on my battery area for cracks

I have a few ideas kicking around.

I think I'll get the X2 and keep it single. I can almost get the money back if I go this route and sell the dual battery components I have been storing.

That’s a solid plan. I’m a big proponent of one big single battery. Less “moving parts” and things to fail. If it’s not enough, solar is always an option too.

Going to be cleaning up a lot and simplifying a lot of systems on the rig. More free time now; why the fuck not.

Bro. You should just hand it over to the feds. Guns are really really bad. I am pretty sure they are the cause of global warming essential killing penguins and whales.

I have been really happy with my X2 27f and a 100 watt solar panel. I leave the fridge plugged up for weeks and just forget about it. Truck starts every time. I keep a jump box just in case though.

Having watched a KOH rig get burnt to the ground after an optima battery failure, and several other less serious product failures, Optima is dead to me. They used to be great batteries, but not anymore. I'd say Optima or X2.

Having a group 31, I sorta wish I had just kept the group 27 size, but having that extra capacity is nice if I ever need it. Unless you are camped stationary for days on end, a 31 is sorta overkill. If you move around every day, a 27 would be more than adequate.

Pros of a 31: more capacity, more CCA.
Cons of a 31: Weight, Need for a cage, terminal extensions

Pros of a 27: drop in, no cable concerns, still more juice than an OEM battery
    Cons of a 27: Smaller than a 31

    What a weekend. Jesus.

Friday - work outing event in the afternoon and into the evening

Saturday night - Drama. LOTS of drama.

Sunday morning - didn't sleep well. Got up super early for the gym. Hit a trucks and coffee event

    7E8DFE10-0191-4E73-B109-8C152CBD6E66.jpg

Sunday afternoon/evening - super bowl party; first house party since all this nightmare stuff with "the situation". It was okay I guess.
