    I have a Mississippi roast in right now. First time trying it and I’m subbing in a brown gravy packet for au jus (no gluten free packets at the grocery store). See you guys in 8 hours!

    I've been using the same couple of recipes for crockpot roasts/dutch oven roasts for years; I haven't googled how to cook a roast in forever.

    You could use corn starch as a thickener instead of flour in a gravy... I suppose a company that makea packets has probably already done that so they could appeal to the GF community
