Great thread!! Yesterday I did 3 off the list.

Sway Bar delete. This completely changed the ride quality. I was disappointed after installing fox 2.5 with JBA uca and Dakar HD. Truck was rigid and rough over the smallest bumps and pot holes.

#28 second air filter delete. Didn’t notice any difference but that thing just doesn’t need to be there.

#46 defrost without A/C. Easy and worth it!! I always run Window cracked with foot and (defrost) window shield heat during winter and sense I bought this truck I wasn’t able to because it would kick the ac on.

3rd generation Inexpensive Upgrades and Add-ons
I bought a 2019 Tacoma a couple months ago, my first, and love it. The only thing I don't love are the dim low beam headlights. This forum was a big help in a few mods I've done already to improve my Tacoma. Here's my list:

Got tired of tool boxes and such sliding all over the place. Rather than drop a hundred bucks on a bedmat, I made my own out of a 4'x6' utility mat from the hardware store. Just had to cut notches for the D rings and wheel wells. Works like a champ, cost $30.

 

Just write out "TACOMA" in duct tape and you wont even be able to tell the difference seriously tho looks good

I got it at Lowe's but I wouldn't be surprised if Ace had some too. I can't remember the brand name, but it's made in the US and from recycled tires, if that helps.

I tried hanging the zig-zag off the inside edge but that sucked. took a few tries too!

It’s a Christmas light hook for the rain gutter. Good idea.

 

I appreciate the offer, but I was able to snag one from a neighbor that is a Christmas light addict! Great Idea tho.

 

Is there an option to get a button that glows like the rest of them so you can see where the fog light button is in the dark? Rr diff lock lights up but fog lights dont

 

I am with you 100%. I've done this since my first fill up. I laugh when i see people buying or making things to hold it.
